sandman sins

amidst the silence of a graveyard

in a darkness you can taste

all my memories misplaced

feel the scent of my decay

feel the scent of my decay

feeling sentenced, sent away

sandman sins don’t come that cheap

you will always pay to sleep

you will pay for my decay

I will pay you for your sleep

may I live another day

while my parents cry and weep

never dared to pioneer

trying barrels, buying beers

supplying ears

applying fears

I hold them tightly

hold them dear
