Mirror Stage

The mirror told you what to do

You aways followed suit

They called you names

You then became

What they‘ve been calling you

Never did you stop to think

They asked you to be fast

You were never given space to breathe

And never made to last

You will burn out like a commet

Going nowhere, no one cares

We will not escape the labyrinth

And yet we came prepared

Only time betrayed us after all

We couldn‘t buy it back

When we finally find a place to be

Our world will start to crack
