Mirror man
Mirror man, oh shadow self
Whose mask I hate to see the most
Whose gaze consumes the very soul
I never claimed to have at all
The gentleman looks back at me
Enquiring as to who I‘ll be
I scan the damage on my face
And calculate the years I‘ll waste
Obsessing over who I‘m not
Reflecting my opaque visage
These beams of light will not bode well
For those who look at me tonight
Mirror, mirror, on the wall
Will you catch me when I fall
Bloody shards on bitter hands
Narcissistic mirror man
