institutions are dead

Life is not worth living

The trusted institutions are dead

I go to office buildings for handouts

in hopes they will employ me instead

You always expected the world

And now you look for people to blame

you got too lost in the search

Now you can‘t even remember your name

You always thought you‘d take her to church

But the church always took you to school

And now you see that all that you learned

is that you‘re always getting fucked by the rules

Life is not worth living

The classic institutions are dead

I go to museums that sell me ice cream

But I can‘t even remember the taste
