I said it all
Poetry is terrible
the rich and wealthy love it
But they fail to understand it
So they all pretend it’s pretty
When a rapper raps, he means it
not the slammers in the evening
who just cope with being cowards
And they take it out on viewers
All their stanzas seldom rhyme,
and when they do, with words like “fine”
but when they don’t, they’re ever worse
It’s like a curse, it kills the verse
and when a poet yells at poetry
they’ll tell him he’s perverse
But for the hypocrite I am
I said it all, I said it first
And when I fall,
they’ll read these words
and understand
I hate it all
I hate my style
I hate withdrawal
I used to hang out in the mall
You never wrote,
You never read
So you just browse Instagram instead
And when they rise
You’re next to fall
at least you got to say it all
